Description of Race Course: All 4 Events start on Rock City Road directly across from the Fieldhouse at Andy Lee Field and are out and back to the finish line located about 100 meters inside Andy Lee Field. The Youth Mile goes up Rock City and right a short distance on Glasco to a turnaround approximately 1/2 mile from the Start line. The 5K Walk follows the same Route to a turnaround approximately 1 1/2 miles out and directly before Plachman Road. Ditto for the 5 Mile Road Race which continues to a right on Plachman for an additional mile to the turnaround and back. The run leg[s], 2 miles each of the Duathlon, are on the same course up Rock City Road to a right on Glasco for a total of approximately 1 mile to the turnaround and back to the Finish in Andy Lee Field [the transition area]. The 12 mile bicycle segment of the Duathlon goes up from the common Start line and right onto Glasco to a left up West Saugerties approximately an additional 4 miles to a turnaround and back to Andy Lee Field. |
